What is Kiuri?
"Kiuri" (kyuri) is a Japanese word, meaning study of natural laws.It came from Chinese classical philosophy by Chu Hsi.
In Japan, from the end of the Edo period to the beginning of the Meiji era, "Kiuri-gaku" means overall Western learning, especially physics and philosophy.
きうりとは？
窮理（または究理、きゅうり、きうり）は日本語で、物事の道理や法則を究めることを意味する。
もともとは、中国の古典思想である朱子学に由来している。
江戸時代から明治時代のはじめには、窮理学は西洋の学問全体、特に物理学や哲学を意味していた。
